Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of med surg experience required; 1 year minimum experience 2. Cases: Stroke, hyperglycemia, CP, AMS, renal failure, Afib, most medical diagnoses 3. Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS required; AHA only accepted 4. License: SC licensed required; valid state license required with submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech experience preferred but not required for all positions except RRT; Meditech experience required for RRT 7. Shifts/Call: Weekdays, every other weekend, float, holidays as needed; expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation with staff 8. RTO: Minimal to no RTO; must be approved prior to assignment start; preferably no RTO in first weeks; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year and must have been in good standing at time of departure 10. Travel/Local: 50 mile radius restriction; locals not accepted 11. Background: Facility will not accept any license or background hits 12. Modules: Average 8 hours, non-billable; completed pre-start or during orientation; self-reported 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed 16. Special Equipment: Teleneuro cart Critical: Patient ratios 1:5/1:6 (days 1:5, nights/weekends 1:6). High floating required within hospital. 24 orientation hours. COVID-19 vaccine required with exemptions allowed.
