Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years overall nursing experience required; must have MS oncology and at least 1 inpatient hematology oncology experience; must have experience with Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias; experience requirements must be met within the 3 most recent years with at least 1 year of current specialty experience 2. Cases: Acute leukemia patients, primarily newly diagnosed; high number of blood products, IV antibiotics and electrolytes 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ONS Chemo Certification required; NIHSS preferred 4. License: Valid compact or state license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12 D/N or 12 N rotating shifts; may float to other MedSurg Oncology units; variable weekend shifts based on unit needs 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: First time travelers not accepted; locals accepted at same rate; travel experience required 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13.
