- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years current L&D experience in a level 1 acute setting required; VMS notes indicate 5 years of experience 2. Cases: L&D, Post Partum, and Nursery; includes low risk, triage of obstetrical patients, C-section (circulate and recover), vaginal delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy-induced hypertension, newborn assessment, phototherapy, and more 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring required 4. License: KY or compact license required; driver's license required in all submission packets 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech required; charting system experience required (any system noted in VMS fields) 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; float within scope of practice required; schedule is 36/48 per two-week pay period; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated 8.
