Experience: 2 years of experience in specialty required for submission (noted as STRICT); VMS job requirements field lists 5 years; must have experience in L&D, PP, and Nursery in a level 1 acute setting 2. Cases: L&D, Post Partum, and Nursery; community level experience; low risk; facility births per month 100-200; includes triage of obstetrical patients, C-section circulation and recovery, vaginal delivery, cesarean section, postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy induced hypertension, newborn assessment, phototherapy, thermoregulation, breastfeeding support, and more 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring required; copies of certifications required at submission 4. License: KY or compact license required; active compact or state license must be in hand at time of submission — no exceptions 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech required; charting system experience listed as required; any charting system experience noted in VMS fields 7. Shifts/Call: 84 hours per two-week period (one week 3x12, next week 4x12) — STRICT requirement; travelers unable to accept this schedule will be cancelled; every other weekend required; float required within scope of practice; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated; schedule runs 36/48 hours per two-week pay period per facility disclosure 8.
