- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of experience in specialty required for submission 2. Cases: Diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases; 8-10 procedures per day; 6-8 STEMI cases per month; 2 Cath Labs with rotation in EP Lab; radial and groin access; pacemakers and ICDs (single, dual, Bi-V); peripheral diagnostics and interventions; EP ablations (cross-training available) 3. Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required; ARRT required; copies of certifications required at submission 4. License: KY state license required (active compact or state license in hand at time of submission; no exceptions); willing to consider candidates who will apply for KY licensure upon offer — must apply the day they accept 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech required 7. Shifts/Call: Monday-Friday 0700-1730; one weekday off rotates weekly; 8-15 days per month of on-call; one night per week on call (1730-0700); one weekend every 3 weeks (Friday 1730-0700, Saturday-Sunday 0700-0700); must respond within 30 minutes for STEMI alerts; schedule is 84 hours per two weeks (alternating 3x12 and 4x12); travelers who cannot accept this schedule will be cancelled 8. RTO: Up to 7 days of RTO considered; must be presented upfront with no changes accepted; must work either a major or minor holiday every holiday 9. Returning Staff: After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break from the system before being eligible to return 10. Travel/Local: Must live 75+ miles from facility; no locals will be considered 11. Background: Any license hits or background check issues must be disclosed upfront prior to submission 12.
