- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years of ICU-specific experience preferred (LTAC does NOT count); minimum 2 years per system; at least 1 successful prior travel assignment required (no first-time travelers) 2. Cases: CRRT, cardiac surgery, CABG, hemodynamic monitoring, respiratory failure/vent management, DKA, altered mental status, multiple drips, IABP, Impella, Swan Ganz, CVA/Acute Stroke, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, post-op CABG (Day 1-3), SLED Dialysis, Sepsis, ARDS 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH (NIHSS) required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (implied by cert standards); copies required at submission 4. License: Pending license NOT accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience REQUIRED and must be within the last year; must be noted next to each assignment on the profile; no exceptions — travelers without recent Epic experience will be cancelled 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights; ratios 1:2, occasional 1:3; float to Med Surg (1:5) or ER depending on census; no on-call required; 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks; block schedule not available; guaranteed 36 hours per week 8. RTO: No holiday RTO; max 5 total days in 13-week assignment; no additional RTO after time of submittal or while on contract; one pre-approved time off noted in system 9. Charting experience (Epic) MUST be noted next to each assignment on the profile at time of submission — NO EXCEPTIONS. Traveler must commit to going to the lab within 48-72 hours of signing.
