Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; critical care experience or Level I Trauma Center experience required 2. Cases: GU, GYN, Colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, Bariatric, some ENT, IR Pre/Post; proficiency in managing multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia required 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Vents, IV start, Telemetry, Critical Care required; must pass Relias EKG exam; Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management required 4. License: Pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Monday-Friday, 3x12s; rotating start times of 1900-0730 and 1700-0530; night shift nurses expected to pre-op patients from 0530-0730 when no PACU patients; 24 hours of call per 6-week schedule period; guaranteed 40 hours; no block scheduling 8. RTO: No more than 7 days 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified; orientation is 40 hours 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy scrubs required 15.
