- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; at least 18 months of critical care experience required; specialty experience within the last year required 2. Cases: Sepsis, Trauma, DKA, Neuro, CABG, STEMI, Post Vascular Surgeries, Renal Failure; Trauma Level I experience preferred 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS, BLS, and PALS must be through AHA; copies required at submittal 4. License: VA License required in hand at submittal or proof of compact license; SSN required at time of submittal 5. Education: NIH and stroke education required for RNs at all acute care Riverside Health hospitals 6. EMR: Epic experience required for all acute care hospitals under Riverside Health; iCare experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Day shift weekends; every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday); may be scheduled for holidays occurring during assignment; float required within complex (SICU, MICU, OICU, CCU, CVT); can be pulled to ED for appropriate assignment or to MS/ED to task; scheduling type listed as Other 8. RTO: Keep RTO to a minimum; no requests for full calendar week off preferred; no more than 7 days total; all RTO must be included in initial submission and confirmed in confirmation document; no additional RTO requests approved after offer is given 9.
