- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Renal Med Surg; patient diagnoses include renal medsurg; adults to geriatrics 3. Certifications: BLS required; must be on file at submission 4. License: GA RN license or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; Pyxis and SBAR also used 7. Shifts/Call: Self-scheduling; every other weekend required; no call required; holiday work expected based on how many major holidays fall within assignment period (1-2 holidays = must work all; 3 holidays = must work 2) 8. RTO: Max 7 days per contract; ALL RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests accepted post-offer or onsite; if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays fall, 1 holiday RTO may be considered 9. Returning Staff: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler; if canceled or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying and ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health 10.
