- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years required; Level 1 Trauma experience preferred 2. Cases: Large wounds/dressing changes, chest tube placement, laceration repairs, abdominal wounds, trach/vented patients, quadriplegics, brain injury, orthopedic injuries, multi-system problems 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required; PALS and TNCC preferred; IV Start preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross (implied by AHA standard); EKG/Dysrhythmia competency exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing 4. License: Any active state RN license or compact license accepted; candidates with any past license disciplinary action will not be accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required for all inpatient nursing roles 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48-hour contracts available; OT paid after 48 hours on 48-hour contract; must be available to work every other weekend/holiday; self-scheduling; facility reserves right to cancel 2 shifts per 13-week contract for low census 8. RTO: Must be submitted with initial submittal; no RTO added after offer; maximum 14 days allowed per contract; RTO approval at manager's discretion; one pre-approved RTO per unit details 9.
