Qualifications:

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5+ years required for submission 2. Cases: Previous Peds ED experience required; may care for holding patients 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required at time of submission; ED RNs must complete de-escalation training within 14 days of start date ($52 plus tax fee) 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: 4 hours of EPIC training (non-billable) 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend; 36 hours/week; must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays 8. RTO: Screenshot of RTO confirmation required at submission; requests with less than 7 days RTO and no holiday time off prioritized; RTO requested after offer will NOT be accommodated 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff must be gone minimum 1 year before eligible for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits NOT accepted 12. Modules: RN average 18 hours non-billable modules; completed pre-start and annually 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Ventilator management preferred; care of ventilated patients Critical: Patient ratio 1:5+; float required to Pediatric for holding and PICU; PICU experience preferred; labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing; maximum 3 submissions per candidate per facility.
