- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3+ years in specialty with travel experience per job notes; 5 years listed in system fields; 1+ year required for submission within specialty; travel experience preferred 2. Cases: High acuity ED including trauma, chest pain, abdominal pain, sepsis, SOB, psych; moderate sedation; Level 3 trauma center; Comprehensive Stroke Center; Regional Cardiac Center; Pediatrics; peds experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN (in hand), NIH/NIHSS, PALS required; certifications will be allowed to be obtained before starting 4. License: NY State RN License required; must have at least applied if still pending; submit with recent Nursys 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; no block schedule guaranteed; weekend coverage required; patient ratios 1:4-1:5 in main ED; subacute/supertrack 1:5-1:6 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; preferred 7 days or less 9. Returning Staff: Permanent staff cannot return as a traveler within one year; after 3rd assignment, extensions allowed but at local rate 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: SSN/DOB required; client will not clear without SSN (Canadian travelers); client will not clear with pending SSN or work authorization; international travelers must apply for Social Security appointment at time of submittal and cannot cross sooner than 10 days prior to start date 12. Modules: Billable; Critical Care/ED — 6 hours of modules 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience preferred; required per top notes 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15.
