- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; travel experience required, but first-time travelers with 5+ years of experience will be considered 2. Cases: Chest Pain, Stroke, Sepsis, Cardiac Arrest, Trauma, Respiratory Illness, Respiratory Arrest; sees all walks of life including pediatric population 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, TNCC required; BLS/ACLS/PALS must be AHA ONLY; CPI must be Calm Every Storm online version if completed online 4. License: Active MD or Compact RN License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights (19:30-08:00); every other weekend required; holidays required as they fall; floating required within specialty; scheduled on-call not required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days can be requested; if more than 4 consecutive days, an additional week must be added to the back end of new contracts; one major holiday off during winter season may be allowed; schedule restrictions cannot be requested or guaranteed; two pre-approved days noted 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone 12 months before returning as a traveler; return travelers must be away at least 6 months from the system after assignment completion; most locations allow one contract and one extension before a 6-month break is required 10. Travel/Local: Locals under 50 miles not accepted unless job specifically states otherwise; permanent address must be 50+ miles from hospital address 11. Background: Not specified 12.
