Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Fast-paced, high volume ER with multiple complex diagnoses 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required; TNCC and CPI required on site during orientation; BLS/ACLS/PALS must be AHA ONLY; CPI certification required with Calm Every Storm online version as only acceptable online vendor 4. License: RN MD state license or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights (19:00-07:30); floating required as needed; weekends every other weekend; holidays required as scheduled 8. RTO: Max 7 days can be requested; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week added to back end on new contracts; one major holiday off allowed during winter season 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away at least 6 months from system after completion 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted; 50 mile radius rule (permanent address must be 50+ miles from hospital) 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, factored in NBO; 24 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Navy scrubs required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16.
