- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years GI RN hospital experience; must be able to recover/PACU; first-timers not accepted 2. Cases: EGD, EUS, Colonoscopy, ERCP; skills include conscious sedation, airway management, balloon dilators, bronchoscopy, EBUS, esophageal varices and banding, lithotripters, sclerotherapy, propofol, reversal agents, and more as listed 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: BSN required 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 08:00-16:30, 5x8s; on-call required 1-2 weekdays; at least 2 weekend calls; call response time of 30 minutes; float within scope per unit needs 8. RTO: Keep RTO under 7 days per assignment if possible; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: All former UCLA contractors, travelers, or permanent employees must be cleared by Talent Management before submission; RNs require 12-month separation 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same bill rate 11. Background: Not specified 12.
