- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; Previous Charge Experience required 2. Cases: CABG, thoracotomy, TAVR, Mitra Clip, AVR, pericardial window, MVR, and pacemaker procedures; daily census of 4 cases 3. Certifications: ACLS required 4. License: FL license or compact license required at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required; experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Five 8-hour shifts with call from 5:30a-14:00; call every other week (1 week on/1 week off); weekend call every other week; patient ratio 1:1 8. RTO: No RTO allowed in contracts per BayCare policy; verbal approval from manager only; if traveler is not okay with verbal approval only, remove from consideration 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait at least 1 year before returning to any BayCare facility as a traveler; return travelers limited to ICU, MICU, CVICU, ED, PCU, and MS/Tele specialties and must have completed a contract within the last year since 7/1/2022 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius rule applies; traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility; certain allied specialties exempt 11. Background: Not specified 12.
