- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience required for submission 2. Cases: Cardiothoracic surgeries (open heart, valve, bypass, ablation, ECMO, femoral cannulation, Impella, balloon pump insertion); general and vascular cases including Carotid Endarterectomy and port-a-cath insertion 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (standard requirement) 4. License: NY RN License required and must be in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 7 call days per schedule; block scheduling; weekends 3-4 shifts depending on shift; float to General OR when census is low 8.
