Cases: Cardiac focus — Open Heart (CABG, Valves, etc.); extensive case list including Ortho/Spine, General OR, Robotic Surgery, Vascular, GYN, and more; nurse performs heart cases when scheduled and other case types on non-heart days 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; AHA preferred; Military certifications acceptable; ARC (American Red Cross) not accepted 4. License: State-issued ID required prior to submission; SSN and DOB required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic is a requirement to be considered; Charting System Experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Extensive call required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays; call can be shared between two nurses when both are comfortable managing a heart case independently; patient ratio days is 1:1; 1-2 cases per day or less 8.
