- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; first-time travelers not accepted 2. Cases: Diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, device implants; no EP studies, no ablations; daily caseload 5-10; patient population adults to geriatrics 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV required; must have GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, and CSI experience 4. License: GA RN license or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; Pyxis and SBAR also used; Merge preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; 10 call days per month; holiday work expected based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period (1-2 holidays = must work all; 3 holidays = must work 2); floating within department, facility, and possible float to Piedmont Eastside South sister campus 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests accepted post-offer or onsite; if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, 1 holiday RTO may be considered 9. Returning Staff: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler; if canceled or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying and ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health 10.
