- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required; no neuro ICU; first-timers not accepted; travel experience required 2. Cases: Acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, fluid overload, post cardiac arrest, complete heart block, cardiogenic shock, pre-heart transplant, arrhythmias, ventricular tachycardia; ventilator management, arterial line management, pulmonary artery catheter management, pacemakers, Impella, balloon pumps, LVADs; vasoactive drips, central lines, PA/TVP catheter monitoring, dialysis, foley 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; BSN listed; ACLS required for Barnes-Jewish Hospital location; all RNs must obtain ACLS by compliance hard document deadline; certifications not required at time of submittal unless otherwise noted; must pass Relias EKG exam 4. License: MO license — submit without license OK; requires MO or compact (no issuance if tied to another compact state). IL license — must be in hand at time of submittal. Compact — must match permanent residence, otherwise submit for update and confirm ETA. Pending license accepted. 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; every other weekend required; ratio 1:2; can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week; confirm shift in submittal (e.g., 3x12, 4x12); guaranteed 36 hours; will float within service line when needed 8. RTO: Max of 7 days RTO (7+ days requires manager approval, including holiday RTO); no new RTO after submission; no RTO allowed the first week of assignment; up to 2 requests allowed, no more than 40 hours (5 days) total during contract; only one pre-approved time off noted in system 9.
