- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: PA catheter interpretation and analysis required; open heart recovery direct from OR strongly preferred; LVAD/RVAD/Impella and IABP required; CRRT with Prismaflex and ECMO preferred 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; copies of all certifications must be included at time of submission; Nursys or Allied License verification required 4. License: MN license preferred in hand; if not, traveler must apply through Aya project at time offer is accepted; pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic/Excellian required for this position 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Days; 1:2 ratio; every other weekend required (12-hour days or nights); no on-call required; float expected through ICU community including CVICU, Med/Surg ICU, and Neuro ICU; client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty 8. RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days; no pre-approved time off; RTO must be included in initial submission; any vacation plans between sign date and start date must be communicated to Account Manager at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Traveler must be gone 3 months from last shift worked as Perm (Staff or Per Diem); Allina does not provide references post-assignment or for former perm employees 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius enforced; locals (under 100 miles) will be redirected; exception only for Radiology positions 11. Background: Cannot proceed if there is an open case; all hits reviewed during compliance process and cannot be screened prior to signing; fingerprinting required via LiveScan (Minnesota state requirement, no exceptions); results can take 1 day to 3-4 weeks; candidates will not be cleared to start without fingerprint results on file 12. Modules: Pre-start modules required; average 8 hours; travelers receive $150 stipend for completion; all onsite modules (Excellian/Epic classes) are billable; recorded by transcripts; compliance document deadline is the Monday prior to start 13. Travel Experience: Yes, travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: PRISMA Flex, Temporary Pacemakers, Heart Mate 2 & 3, Centra Mag, Impella, Balloon Pump Critical: Date of Birth, SSN, and RTO must all be included in the initial submission.
