- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; will consider first-time traveler with extensive CVICU/open heart experience (2+ years required) 2. Cases: Cardiac Surgery (CABG, valve, cabg/valve), CAD (STEMI, NSTEMI, AFIB w RVR, cardiogenic shock), Vascular (peripheral bypasses, EVAR), Thoracic (VATS) 3. Certifications: RN MD state license, BLS, ACLS required; CPI Certificate required (Calm Every Storm online version only acceptable); BLS/ACLS/PALS must be AHA ONLY; NRP or AAP accepted 4. License: Must have active MD or Compact License at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Days (07:30-20:00); every other weekend required; holidays required as scheduled; on-call scheduled shifts not required 8. RTO: Max 7 days can be requested; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week must be added to back end on new contracts; one major holiday off allowed during winter season 9.
