- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; 2+ years CVICU/open heart experience for first-time travelers 2. Cases: CABG, valve repair/replacement, STEMI, NSTEMI, AFIB w RVR, cardiogenic shock, peripheral bypasses, EVAR, VATS 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA ONLY), CPI Certificate required; charge experience preferred 4. License: Active MD or Compact License required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights 1930-0800; every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled; floating required within specialty and lower acuity 8. RTO: Max 7 days; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week added; one major holiday off during winter season 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away 6 months 10. Travel/Local: Locals under 50 miles not accepted unless specifically stated; permanent address must be 50+ miles from hospital 11. Background: Not specified 12.
