- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; minimum of one year of EP experience required 2. Cases: AMI, Chest pain, Heart failure, NSTEMI, Aortic Stenosis, V-Tach, Endocarditis, Afib, Peripheral vascular disease, Sick sinus syndrome; interventional scrub experience required; high volume/high acuity Cath Lab experience needed; Level 1 trauma experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; must be obtained by compliance hard document deadline; not required at time of submittal unless noted; must pass Relias EKG exam 4. License: MO license — submit without license OK; requires MO or compact (no issuance if tied to another compact state). IL license — must be in hand at time of submittal. Compact — must match permanent residence, otherwise submit for update and confirm ETA 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; RN Circulator will document in Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s; rotating shifts 0700-1730, 0700-1730 late, and 1000-2030 close as needed; every other weekend required; rotating call required including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; call can change per unit needs; approximately 1-2 nights per week, every 2nd-4th weekend; no block scheduling; guaranteed 40 hours 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days; 7+ days requires manager approval, including holiday RTO; no new RTO after submission; no RTO allowed the first week of assignment 9. Returning Staff: 18-month tenure with a 3-month break in service required; permanent BJC or Saint Lukes employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler; mid-contract cancellations to accept another BJC assignment are not permitted; if canceled at contractor's discretion, must complete an assignment elsewhere before being considered for a new BJC opportunity 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility; no local travelers allowed except Patient Care Technicians, CNAs, and Medical Assistants 11.
