Requirements
- Required certification: Cath Lab
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have experience in both Cath Lab and IR Lab 2. Cases: Cardiac cath (diagnostic or intervention), IR lab patients requiring drains, tubes, kyphoplasty, biopsy 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required 4. License: NY license required in hand to submit 5. Education: Must alert account manager if traveler has foreign education requiring verification 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 4 - 10-hour days (7:00 am - 5:30 pm); 8-10 call shifts per month including 1-2 weekends per month 8. RTO: Cannot exceed 10 days; keep RTO close to 1 week 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles not accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours, total may reach 10 hours; excess over 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: Accepts first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement required Critical: Must have experience in both Cath Lab and IR Lab. Candidates will float. 40-hour orientation required.
