- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1 year accepted if technologist has 4 years of scanning experience 2. Cases: Daily caseload per tech: 10; Head/Neck, Spine, Thorax, Abdomen/Pelvis, Musculoskeletal, and MRA/MRV exams required 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT (MR), ARRT R required; NRP cert copy required for PICU/PEDS/RRT submittals 4. License: Compact accepted at submittal but must have AK license prior to starting for acute specialties 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required; Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 days (Tues-Friday), possible call for holiday coverage, guaranteed 36-40 hours 8. RTO: No restrictions; needs to be listed on profile 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 2 years before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Minimum 100 miles; locals not accepted 11. Background: Case by case approval 12. Modules: 4-5 hours average, billable, completed onsite during orientation via HealthStream 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Any color or pattern (L&D/OR provided) 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: GE Scanner required; IV starts required Critical: ARRT Advanced certification HARD STOP required. Community hospital and Level II trauma experience required. Must acknowledge COVID vaccination requirements. References required but can be submitted pending.
