- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; 1st time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Daily caseload of 150-200 scans (M-F); 150 scans Friday/Saturday/Sunday; CT procedures include Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction; Code Stroke and Level II Trauma cases involved 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT) required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (implied by standard) 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required (charting system experience required); Visage preferred; PACS preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour days; 08:45-20:15; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only; no call requirement; no float requirement; orientation is 48 hours and may begin Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of first week — full availability required; final start date confirmed Tuesday prior to start week 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; no additional RTO after signing; no weekend RTO; RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite — call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation and DNR 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees (perm/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name and dates employed; facility approval needed; current travel per diem clinicians are not eligible for travel contracts and must choose one — include status and intent in submission 10.
