- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years in a large hospital; Level 1 Trauma preferred, Level 2 accepted 2. Cases: DKA, GI bleed, COPD, Pneumonia, Stroke, Sepsis, Afib, Urologic complications, ESRD, Psych disorders, AMS; vent/trach experience, chest tubes, cardiac drips, cardiac monitor interpretation required 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred; must be AHA or equivalent; must pass online EKG/tele competency assessment within 72 hours of signing; IV Start required; N95 fitting required prior to working HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered 4. License: Any active state RN license or compact license accepted; candidates with any past license disciplinary action will not be accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required for all inpatient nursing roles 7. Shifts/Call: 48-hour contract; OT paid after 48 hours; every other weekend and holiday required; 7 weekend shifts per contract; patient ratios 1:4 targeted, up to 1:5-6; travelers first to float within hospital or to nearby Premier campuses (Centerville less than 10 miles, Englewood less than 15 miles); Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts per 13-week contract or 2 shifts per 8-week contract; 2-week cancellation notice without fee or fine; travelers not eligible for Premier Health employee incentives 8. RTO: Maximum 14 days per contract; must be submitted with initial application; no RTO added after offer; approval at manager's discretion; no schedule requests negotiated after offer 9.
