- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required; must support at least 2 years in the previous 3 years 2. Cases/Skills Required: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Chest without and/or with contrast, Head without and/or with contrast, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Starting Peripheral IVs, Musculoskeletal trauma, Isolation Precautions/PPE 3. Certifications: ARRT R and BLS required; must be in hand at time of submission 4. License: MD State License required in hand at time of submission; must have either a compact license or an MD license 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Night shift; Sunday 9 p.m.-7 a.m. through Wednesday 9 p.m.-7 a.m.; weekend coverage varies 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment; RTO must be included at time of submittal and cannot be changed once sent to manager; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must have been separated for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler; candidates may only be submitted to one MedStar location at a time 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; candidate's address must match driver's license; copy of driver's license required at submittal; local candidates accepted at a lower rate 11. Modules: Facility- and unit-specific Sitel modules assigned upon hire; must be completed within one week of signing contract; failure may result in cancellation; billable up to 4 hours, average duration 12 hours; completed pre-start and potentially during orientation; recorded via transcripts 13.
