Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Blood Bank — irradiation, splitting blood products, plasma reduction on plateletpheresis 3. Certifications: ASCP preferred; all certifications must be in hand at time of submission 4. License: LA License required; valid LA License or Compact License due at time of submission; cannot accept pending 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Float within department required; weekend coverage required; no call requirement 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Perm staff must leave the health system for 1 year before eligible to travel 10. Travel/Local: Locals (anyone under 75 miles) accepted at local rate regardless of specialty 11. Background: Any license hits must be disclosed at time of submission along with a personal statement 12. Modules: Non-billable; Allied ranges 2-4 hours; completed pre-start, vary by specialty; recorded by facility education department 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14.
