- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required for submission; IR experience a plus 2. Cases: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab; Interventional Radiology; PCI; STEMI call required — must have housing within 30 minutes of facility 3. Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required; copies required at submission 4. License: Active WV or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission; no exceptions 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday; 84 hours per two-week period (one week 3x12, next week 4x12); 1-2 call shifts during the week; 1-2 weekends per month; float required within scope of practice 8. RTO: Up to 7 days considered; must be presented upfront with no changes accepted; must work either a major or minor holiday every holiday 9. Returning Staff: After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return 10. Travel/Local: Must reside 75 miles from facility to be considered; must have housing within 30 minutes for STEMI call 11. Background: Any license hits or background check issues must be disclosed upfront prior to submission 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Provided by the Cath Lab; lead apron also provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Lead apron provided by facility Critical: COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only).
