Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – RRT

Shift: Nights / 6p-6:30a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, Will work every other weekend
Length: 13 weeks

Is on-call REQ? Required as needed for the department.

Requirements:

  • IL License
  • Minimum 1 year experience required
  • Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department experience
  • Required Airway Management Devices/Suctioning
  • Community Hospital Experience
  • Teaching Hospital Experience
  • Cerner experience required
  • RRT required
  • BLS
  • Trauma Level I and II Experience preferred

  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float if needed.

Shift: 3×12 Nights (1800-0630)
Ratios/Daily Caseload:
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 1 year experience required.
First-timers accepted: Yes.
Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend.
Certs REQ: BLS and RRT required.
Is on-call REQ? Required as needed for the department.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float if needed.
Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
Must have active IL license to apply OR must be in application process with ETA.
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department. Required Airway Management Devices/Suctioning Skills/Experience: Endrotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning. Required Nebulizer Skills/Experience: Hand held, T-Piece, Trach collar. Required Oxygen therapy Skills/Experience: Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) , T-Piece, Trach Collar, Venturi Masks. Required Ventilator Management Skills/Experience: BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation. Cerner experience required. Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, Trauma Level I and II Experience preferred.
