Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – RRT-NICU

Shift: Nights, 6:30p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

On Call/Weekend Requirement: No on call requirement
Holiday coverage expected

Requirements:

  • MD License
  • 2 years of experience as an RRT in Adult Critical Care and NICU
  • BLS
  • CRT
  • NRP
  • ED experience preferred
  • ACLS, PALS preferred
  • Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
  • Community Hospital Experience preferred
  • Trauma Level I & II Experience preferred
Float between Adult and NICU
Local within 60 Miles of facility
Charting: Cerner
Scrubs: not provided; scrub color: ceil blue

Other Details:

RRT – NEONATAL ICU
Shift: 3×12 Nights – 1830-0700
On Call/Weekend Requirement: No on call requirement, every other weekend required; holiday coverage expected
Float Requirement: Float between Adult and NICU
Local within 60 Miles of facility

Requirements:
– 2 years of experience as an RRT in Adult Critical Care and NICU
– 1 prior travel assignment completed
– BLS
– CRT
– NRP
– MD State licensure
– ED experience preferred
– ACLS preferred
– PALS preferred

Job position Details:
– Traveler will be doing the following: Airway Management Devices/Suctioning: Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning, ABG interpretation
– Skills Required for success: Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered dose inhaler, Nebulizer, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Assist in high risk delivery, Umbilical blood gases, Draeger V500, Draeger VN500, Servo U, Comfortable drawing and analyzing ABGs, Cerner (Skills Preferred: Bronchoscopy, Bicarbonate, Inhaled Flolan, Ketamine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Theophylline)
