Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Certified CVOR Tech

Shift: Days / 6:45a-3:15p, 8×5, 40 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

(6a for open heart cases), with call – approx. 3-4x per week & every other to every third weekend
Holiday/Call Requirements: rotating holidays- must be willing to work holidays

Requirements:

  • 3 years of CVOR experience, open hearts, CABG, Valves
  • Must be able to first scrub
  • BLS
  • CST or NCCT
  • ND UAP
  • Must register with the board
Other Details:
  • MUST BE WILLING to cross train into general OR if CV volumes are low
  • Must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume
  • Average # of cases per day: 1-3 depending on the case as we do all thoracic and vascular cases as part of CV too
  • Common Cases: Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneuryms) thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, ION robotic cases, ECMO, Impella 5.5, Stryker towers
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles
