Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – CVOR Tech First Assistant
 
Shift: Days / 6:15a-4:45p, 10×4, 40 hrs/week
Length: 13 weeks

Weekend REQ: Call rotation starting end of shift on Friday (1645) till Monday am (0615). This rotation is once every 3-4 weeks
Certs REQ: BLS
Is on-call REQ? Yes – Call is 1-2 times per week and every 3-4 weekends
 
Requirements
  • 3-4 years experience
  • Work Setting Experience Required: Acute Inpatient OR, CVOR, Outpatient OR
  • Surgery Case Experience Required: Cardiac, General, Thoracic, Vascular
  • Cardiovascular experience required: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve replacement, Pericardial window
  • Vascular experience required: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Vein stripping
  • Endoscopic Procedure Experience Required: Bronchoscopy, EGD, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Peg tube placement/exchange
  • Trauma experience required: Amputations, Gunshot/stab wounds
  • Equipment Experience required: Case Cart, Drills, Electrosurgical Units, Fiber optic light source/cords
  • BLS

  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed
  • Locals accepted: Must live > 50 miles from facility to apply.
Must be in IL 3 business days prior to compliance HDD in order to meet fingerprinting requirements.

RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
