Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience; interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring; Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS required; BLS required; NIH preferred; Must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights, 36 hours only; floating required as needed with potential to float every shift 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing; RTO after booking not allowed 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission; facility approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate; will accept first-time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13.
