- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele required; charge nurse preferred 3. Certifications: DC RN License, BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred; must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 4. License: DC RN License required in hand prior to start; pending DC license accepted at submission with proof 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 D/N; every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per contract); float required within equivalent or lower acuity units 8. RTO: No RTO permitted first two weeks; maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must be separated minimum one year before returning as traveler 10.
