Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 18 months experience required per compliance notes 2. Cases: Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required; extensive cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and IV therapy skills required 3. Certifications: BLS and NIH required; ACLS preferred; must be AHA or Red Cross only (RQI cards not accepted) 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred/required (position specific) 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights (can accommodate 4x12s); every other weekend; no on-call required; will float as needed 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday or less; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Any permanent or PRN employee must be away for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius requirement (exception: OR RNs must be 50+ miles from facility) 11. Background: Must note background policy prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, billable after; completed pre-start then annually; sent Friday before start, must be completed by 4pm CST on first day; strict deadlines enforced 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: Must be able to take tracheostomies with ventilators Critical: SSN and DOB required at submittal; lab appointment, DocuSigns, and badge photo must be completed within 1 week of signing contract; very sensitive account requiring reliable completion.
