- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required 2. Cases: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown required; Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, CVA experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; must be AHA or Red Cross only (RQI cards not accepted) 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Days (0645-1915); every other weekend required; no on-call 8. RTO: Can auto-approve 5 or less days of non-holiday RTO; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous perm/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius restriction 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start; strict deadline 4PM CST Day 1 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: BiPAP, Central Telemetry Monitoring, Doppler, Optiflow, Chest Tubes, External Pacing, Central Line, PCA Pumps, IV Pumps, Bladder Scanners Critical: Must have extensive cardiac monitoring experience including dysrhythmia interpretation and management. Teaching hospital and Level I Trauma experience preferred. Patient ratio 5-7. Must float to like units as needed.
