Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Medical diagnosis with focus on pulmonary patients; patient ratio 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS and NIHSS also listed 4. License: NY license required in hand - no exceptions 5. Education: Foreign education must be verified (alert account manager at submittal) 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 4x12 Nights 1900p-0700a, every other weekend, floating to ICU or MS required 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO, pre-approved time off limited to one 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Must be 75+ mile radius, candidates within 75 miles not accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours, completed pre-start, total may reach 10 hours with excess being non-billable 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Any combo of navy and white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Cardiac monitoring, telemetry, central lines, arterial lines, BIPAP support, various respiratory equipment Critical: Patient ratios - Days: 1:3, Nights: 1:4, Weekends: 1:3. First time travelers accepted. 24-hour orientation required.
