- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required; 18 months if not specified otherwise in job description 2. Cases: Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required; extensive list of specific clinical skills including cardiac monitoring, post-cardiac procedures, neurological cases, orthopedic trauma, respiratory care 3. Certifications: BLS and NIH required, ACLS preferred; AHA and Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted; copies required at submission 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights (1845-0715), 4:1 patient ratio, every other weekend required, no on-call, floating required within hospital or affiliate hospitals 8. RTO: Can auto-approve 5 or less days of non-holiday RTO; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted for all units except OR RN (must be 50+ miles for OR specialty); no radius restriction for this position 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed pre-start, strict deadlines (4PM CST Day 1), virtual first day for module completion 13. Travel Experience: Yes, travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Must be able to take tracheostomies with ventilators Critical: Must provide 2-3 interview times upon submission. SSN and DOB required at submittal. Compliance (lab, DocuSign, badge photo) must be completed within 1 week of signing contract. Teaching hospital and Level I Trauma experience preferred.
