- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; 2 years experience required in specialty 2. Cases: Trauma/GI post op patients; trauma/general surgery post op patient experience required; abdominal surgeries; colorectal surgery patients including new ostomy placement and take down, head and neck surgery, surgical oncology, plastic surgery 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC required; must be AHA certified 4. License: Compact or KY State License required at time of submission; will NOT accept any licensure hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 6 weekend shifts per contract; PACU call 1 hour response time, weekday call 8PM-6AM, weekend call divided into 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM shifts; 2-3 call shifts per 6-week schedule period 8. RTO: Must be presented at time of submission; any time off sent after offer will not be approved 9. Returning Staff: Gone for 6 months to return as traveler; must know at submission if previously worked at facility for rehire eligibility check 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius for this specialty; locals not accepted 11. Background: Must disclose if previously worked at facility; rehire eligibility checked every Friday 12. Must rate 3/4 in GI section of skills checklist and 3/4 in foley catheters, surgical drains, surgical oncology, wound vacs, ostomy, ports and PICCs, TPN and lipids. Candidates will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby.
