- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years ICU experience required (hard stop); must have 1 year Level 1 trauma experience in high acuity PCU; ICU experience must be within most recent year; 3 years total experience 2. Cases: PCU float to ICU; transitional/progressive care; acute progressive patients; stroke patients; CVA cases 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; EKG onboarding exam, Advanced Math exam, Med/Pharmacology exam, General ICU competency exam required 4. License: Compact or KY State License required at submission; no licensure hits accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours/week contracts; patient ratios 4:1 days/nights/weekends; weekend coverage required; PACU call 1-hour response time 8. RTO: Must be presented at submission; any time off sent after offer not approved; two pre-approved 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 6 months to return as traveler; must disclose previous work at facility for rehire eligibility check 10. Travel/Local: Local travelers within 100 miles not accepted (75 miles for Cath Lab/IR/Radiology) 11. Background: Will not accept any licensure hits 12.
