- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required in specialty 2. Cases: Med/Surg experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS required; EKG exam required 4. License: Compact or KY State License required at submission; will NOT accept any licensure hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: PACU call 1-hour response time; weekday call 8PM-6AM; weekend shifts 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM; 2-3 call shifts per 6-week schedule 8. RTO: Must be presented at time of submission; any time off sent after offer will not be approved 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 6 months to return as traveler; must note if previously worked at facility for rehire eligibility check 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius for most specialties (75 miles for Cath Lab RN, IR RN, Radiology); locals not accepted 11. Background: University of Kentucky will NOT accept any licensure hits 12.
