- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years overall experience and 1 year in specialty required; first time travelers OK for this position with 1 year nurse experience 2. Cases: COPD, CHF, Diabetes, Renal Failure, Hip fractures, Sepsis, Pneumonia 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: MO or Compact license must be in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Must work 50% of holidays during contract; floating mandatory to Medical Surgical Floors including as Patient Observers; weekend coverage required with 50% weekend shifts per contract 8. RTO: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission with no exceptions 9. Returning Staff: Re-orientation not required if returning within 18 months; 9-month gap required between assignments to return as traveler; 6-month mandatory break required after completion of assignment before returning 10.
