- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: ER, Adult ICU, Med/Surg and ICU/Stepdown work setting experience required 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NC License and RRT Credentials required; NRP preferred; UNIT WILL NOT ACCEPT CRT 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience is REQUIRED 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights, 36 or 48 hours can be offered; On call required as needed/workload dependent; 4 weekend shifts within 6-week timeframe 8. RTO: 7 days MAX for auto approval (no holidays); Must work 2 of 3 major holidays; No RTO during first week; All RTO must be pre-approved; Cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; Disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission; facility approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate; Must be open to floating within/near facility 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13. Respiratory care experience required including airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP, vest therapy, meta-neb, PAP therapy, heated high-flow.
