- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years critical care and prior travel experience required 2. Cases: Cardiac ICU patients and overflow from MICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU; blunt force trauma and vascular patients; trauma surgical experience is hardstop requirement 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; TNCC preferred but not required; references must be from direct supervisor (not charge RN) 4. License: Pending license not accepted, but compact accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required - HARDSTOP 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Day Shift; Every other weekend required; no on-call; no block schedule accommodation 8. RTO: No more than 6 days; minimal RTO, cannot accommodate during first 2 weeks 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff requires 18 months separation 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate; first-timers not accepted for auto offer but can screen if RN has at least 1 year in Level 1 trauma 11. Background: Must disclose any hits when submitted 12. Modules: 5-6 hours for RN, non-billable, completed pre-start; additional 6 hours for WA suicide prevention if required 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Blue, facility provided as needed or solid color allowed 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Belmont rapid infuser, Thermogard, ECMO machine, LiDCO, Ranger, EVDs, Licox/Camino Critical: Must screen if candidate lacks 1 year in 500+ bed Level 1 trauma facility. Floating to other ICUs and border areas expected. Two references required at submittal, preferably supervisory.
