- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required, must have critical care experience within last 12 months 2. Cases: Level I Trauma experience preferred; experience with adult trauma, burns, trach patients, spinal cord injury, complex sleep disordered breathing 3. Certifications: BLS, RRT required; ACLS, NRP, PALS with asterisk notation 4. License: WA license or Compact License required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience is a huge plus but not required; Epic experience required with HARDSTOP notation 7. Shifts/Call: 3 - 12 Hours 1830-0700, required to work all scheduled shifts, every other weekend required, no on-call 8. RTO: Keep to minimum, cannot accommodate RTO during orientation week, none pre-approved 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff must be separated from facility for 18 months before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no difference in Bill Rate 11. Background: Must disclose any background hits, DUIs at time of submission for facility consideration 12. Modules: Non-billable; RN 5-6 hours, Allied 2-3 hours; completed pre-start except Epic module during orientation (billable); WA suicide prevention training 6 additional hours if required 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color scrubs, also provided light blue on unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Hamilton G5, Servo U, Zoll, LTV, Trilogy ventilators; INO, Inhaled Epoprosentol; Cough Assist/MIE and LP/LPV required Critical: Must be RRT credentialed. Two references required upon submittal, preferably supervisory. Pediatric experience preferred but not required. 48 orientation hours. Will float within hospital.
