Requirements
- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; critical care experience within last 12 months required; Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred 2. Cases: Adult trauma and burns, medically and neurologically complicated patients, trach patients, spinal cord injury, complex sleep disordered breathing 3. Certifications: BLS required, RRT credential required; ACLS, NRP, PALS noted with asterisks; must be AHA certified 4. License: WA license required (Compact License or WA single state acceptable) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience is a huge plus but not required (HARDSTOP noted) 7. Shifts/Call: 3-12 hour shifts 0630-1800; every other weekend required; no on-call; no floating within scope 8. RTO: Keep to minimum; cannot accommodate RTO during orientation week; facility cannot accommodate scheduling requests outside of approved RTO 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff must be separated from facility for 18 months before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no difference in bill rate; no local radius rule specified 11. Background: Must disclose any background hits, DUIs at time of submission for facility consideration 12. Modules: Non-billable; RN 5-6 hours, Allied 2-3 hours; completed pre-start except EPIC module during orientation (billable); WA suicide prevention training may require additional 6 hours 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color scrubs; light blue provided on unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Hamilton G5, Servo U, Zoll, LTV, Trilogy ventilators; Cough Assist/MIE and LP/LPV required Critical: Must have critical care experience within last 12 months. Pediatric experience preferred but not required. Two references required upon submittal.
