- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; critical care experience within last 12 months; Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred 2. Cases: Adult trauma and burns, medically and neurologically complicated patients, trach patients, spinal cord injury, complex sleep disordered breathing; pediatrics preferred not required 3. Certifications: BLS required, RRT credentialed; ACLS, NRP, PALS noted with asterisks; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: WA license required; Compact License or WA single state acceptable 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required (hardstop noted), huge plus but later noted as not required; Epic module completed during orientation is billable 7. Shifts/Call: 3-12 hour shifts 1830-0700; weekend required every other; on-call not required; must work all scheduled shifts 8. RTO: Keep to minimum; cannot accommodate during orientation week; no pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff must be separated from facility for 18 months before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no difference in bill rate; candidates will float within hospital 11. Background: Must disclose any background hits, DUIs at time of submission 12. Modules: Non-billable; RN 5-6 hours, Allied 2-3 hours; completed pre-start except Epic module; WA suicide prevention training may require additional 6 hours 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color scrubs; light blue provided on unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Ventilators (Hamilton G5, Servo U, Zoll, LTV, Trilogy), INO, Inhaled Epoprosentol, ECLS; Cough Assist/MIE and LP/LPV required Critical: Two references required upon submittal, preferably supervisory. Compliance deadline 3 business days prior to start date.
