- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years preferred (must have at least one year at a large >500 bed Level 1 Trauma, Academic Medical Center) 2. Cases: Level 1 Trauma experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CRT required, RRT preferred 4. License: NE state license in hand preferred; takes 6-8 weeks if not in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period; contracts must end on Sunday 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; post-confirmation RTO may be denied; no RTO during first week of orientation; up to two weeks allowed for Medical Surgical units 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must be more than 100 miles from facility; locals NOT accepted 11. Background: Do not submit candidates with license hits for RRT and Radiology 12. Modules: Mandatory charting class Friday of orientation week unless told otherwise by unit/department manager 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Mandatory Steele gray scrubs with Nebraska Medicine logo; facility provides OR scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Not required 16. Special Equipment: Adult Critical Care equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, ventilators, tracheostomy care equipment Critical: 100% Nicotine Free Facility with immediate termination risk if nicotine use suspected. Must go into labs within 48-72 hours from accepting offer. Compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start by 4 PM CST.
